Responsibilities:

Perform financial and valuation analyse using various methodologies
Build detailed financial models, DCF/ LBO modeling to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing
Regional coverage: Southeast Asia
Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
Participate in live M&A process: coordinating due diligence with legal, accounting and tax consultants, advising on optimal transaction structures, advising clients on negotiation strategy, drafting of correspondences on behalf of clients, and reviewing transaction documents
Identify and evaluate potential targets/ sellers/ investors/ buyers
Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the bank, internal and external stakeholders

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
4-8 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance advisory/ M&A/ Big 4 / Returning buyside or corporate candidates (Title given accordingly)
Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
Team player, family culture
Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
Strong problem solving skills
