The Opportunity:

These 18-month traineeships will see you working full-time, gaining hands-on experience and training, whilst studying towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Each opportunity is set within a different department and will see you undertaking a wide range of duties. Opportunities include:

• Governance – provide Corporate Governance, Council Governance, and Information Management support to all teams. Includes helping with meeting agendas, minute taking, intranet updates, compliance, and file management.

• City Development - support the lodgement of Council development applications, dog registrations, parking controls, and carrying out a diverse range of administrative tasks to support and promote legislation and procedures.

• Community Experience - serves as the primary point of contact between the community and the Council. This role will expose you to a range of responsibilities, including direct communication through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. You will also work with the Communication and Marketing team.
