Are you an experienced Safety Coordinator with a passion for driving strong work health and safety (WHS) outcomes? We are seeking a safety professional to join a leading organisation operating across Fremantle and Kwinana on a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide WHS support and advice to employees and contractors across Fremantle and Kwinana sites
  •  Lead and coordinate incident investigations, hazard assessments, safety inspections, and WHS audits
  • Review and analyse WHS performance data and recommend strategies for continuous improvement
  • Assist in the ongoing development, implementation, and continuous improvement of WHS management systems
  • Coordinate and deliver safety inductions, training, and relevant WHS communications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven track record in WHS roles within heavy industry environments
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation, risk management frameworks, and safety compliance systems
  • Demonstrated experience conducting audits, investigations, and managing hazard and risk controls
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and contractor groups
  • A current C Class Driver’s Licence
