Opportunity

An opportunity has presented itself to join one of Australia’s Big 4 Banks in the high performing Risk Analytics & Insights team. We are seeking an experienced Developer to solve complex problems and engage with analysts and stakeholders from around the business.

You will analyse, design and develop data solutions with the team and act as a trusted advisor liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure that the data is sourced, enriched and leveraged by decision makes.
  • Strong Experience with SAS or Teradata and Hive and UNIX Shell scripting will be highly regarded
  • an understanding of data governance and required testing aoing the data lifecylce
  • Experience working within large organisations, data quality analysis and remediation
  • Have experience working with remote and offshore teams
  • Excellent communication skills, you will work closely with BA's
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Preparation of analytically ready data for use in descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytic
  • Work with business units to understand credit risk related data elements, including identification of relevant reference data, meta data and data lineage
  • Data publication, involving managing the transition of data from a conceptual state, such as a prototype, strategy or model, to operational state in a system for decisions
  • The development of analytical data routines for extraction, alignment, transformation and preparation for analytical consumption
