Kickstart your deadly career with Maxima in a School-Based Traineeship where you can combine paid employment with completion of your secondary school studies. 

A School-Based Traineeship is a paid opportunity allowing students to gain firsthand industry experience while working towards a qualification that contributes to their High School Certificate. Students still attend school while working part time to complete their Traineeship.

The Role: 

Maxima are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from motivated individuals wanting to undertake a School-Based Traineeship. These opportunities are due to commence from November 2024.

Provide exceptional service to customers working one day a week while attending school for the others. 

Work within a supportive team and alongside experienced supervisors to gain industry experience, as well as receive allocated study time to achieve a nationally recognised Certificate.

Duties Include:

• Customer service, in person and over phone
• Assist with bank transactions, cash handling and savings needs
• Monitor and respond to email and phone correspondence
• Document processing including filing and scanning
• Create and maintain electronic files 
• Data entry

About You: 

• Positive and proactive approach
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to build rapport with a variety of people 
• Great communication skills, written and verbal 
• Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable 
• Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office 

Role Requirements:

• Commencing Year 11 in 2025
• Identify as First Nations Australian
