Our client is a specialist Insurance company who are growing rapidly within the Australian and NZ market. Due to sustained growth they have a newly created Financial Planning & Analysis Manager opportunity for an experienced FP&A or Management Reporting professional with a deep knowledge of the insurance sector. 

Reporting into an impressive GM Finance, this will be a great opportunity to put your own stamp on the role and be instrumental in building out the FP&A and Decision Support function as well as build a team over time.

Key deliverables will include:

• Delivering management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
• Advising on KPIs and key metrics
• Act as a trusted advisor and finance business partner to GM's and EGMs 
• Provide in-depth analysis of data and trends to advise on key drivers of business performance
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations, influencing key business decisions and strategic planning
• Competitor and industry trend analysis 
• Compiling and coordinating board reporting including setting agendas

Required skills and experience:

• 7 - 10 years experience in management reporting, FP&A and/or decision support experience 
• Deep insurance sector experience and knowledge of the business drivers within an insurance company
• Highly advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive experience in writing board reports
• Highly analytical and commercially focused
• Outstanding relationship building, business partnering and presentation skills
