Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead a complex SAP S/4HANA upgrade and remediation program within a NSW Government agency. This role demands strategic leadership, extensive experience in SAP transformations, and a strong understanding of public sector requirements and governance. The successful candidate will oversee multiple streams of work, ensuring seamless delivery whilst managing inter dependencies across other major programs.

Program outline:
  • This program will address my client SAP Usage Rights exposure, by enabling S/4HANA functionality and removing ECC Compatibility Packs and Mode.
  • Key program milestones include upgrading form S/4HANA verison 2021 to 2023.
  • Remediation of Compatibility Packs from ECC6.
  • Remediation of custom code.
Delivery schedule:
  • Stream 1 – Remediate Compatibility Packs & Custom Code in the current version of S/4HANA V21.
  • Planned Go-Live – May 2025
  • Stream 2 - Upgrade to V23 as functionality not available in V21. Remediate Compatibility Packs, Custom Code & Simplification items in the new version.
  • Planned Go-Live – November 2025
  • Stream 3 - HTR & Payroll evaluation work – independent of streams 1 & 2 (This stream will be delivered by another PM but this role will oversee this)
Key knowledge and experience:
  • Highly skilled Program Manager with 15+ years' experience in SAP technical upgrades
  • Experience leading a complex SAP S/4HANA Upgrade
  • Experience with remediation of Compatibility Packs & Custom Code
  • Experience leading a large program within a NSW Government Agency
  • Strategic leadership and stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of public sector requirements and governance
  • Exceptional vendor management skills
