The Role:

Maxima, and Light Regional Council, are looking for a motivated individual to undertake a Business Traineeship as an Information Services Support Officer.

Throughout this 18-month fulltime traineeship you will receive on-the-job training and support by working alongside experienced supervisors and study online towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Position Duties:

• Meet and greet visitors to the Kapunda Principal Office in person and on the phone
• General administrative duties including document preparation, photocopying, filing, emailing, data entry
• Maintain public areas and ensure they are welcoming and accessible
• Maintain displays including public notices, media releases, brochures and promotional material
• Maintain Stationary cupboards, Office Kitchen and Information Services supplies

Required Skills:

• Ability to greet customers and staff as the first point of contact
• Excellent literacy and the ability to follow instructions
• Previous customer service experience an advantage but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive and approachable disposition
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Suite, Outlook (or similar)

Special Conditions:

• Drivers licence
• Full-time position - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
• Flexible hours (may include some after hours)
• General employment probity and/or working with children check
• Based at the Kapunda Office but may be required to work at other locations
