Our client is a renowned chartered accounting firm who are ranked within the top 20 in the AFR in 2019. This firm has a long-standing reputation in the ANZ market and specialises in audit, accountancy, advisory, SMSF, financial planning and tax. You will be mentored by a hands-on Manager and newly appointed, forward-thinking Partner to enable your professional growth.
Description
As part of the social, supportive and easy-going Business Advisory team, you will engage with a diverse range of middle market and international clients and work closely with the Manager and Partner. Your duties will include:
Preparation of accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters for clients
Maintaining client records and accounts
Virtual CFO work
Preparing and management of client correspondence
General administrative duties, as required
Researching information for client queries
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years' previous experience in a Chartered Accounting firm
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
CA qualifications, either already commenced or willingness to undertake CA qualifications, and a relevant degree from an Australian University
Ability to manage a busy workload together with a strong client service focus
Drive and ambition to be innovative and maintain a continuous improvement mindset
