Client Details
Our client is an Australian based company responsible for importing and distributing food and beverages around Australia, importing over 1000 food products. Their aim is to ensure high quality foods are supplied to the customer with best in class service.
 
Description
As the Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for organising and liaising with transport providers, actioning operational data issues and releasing orders within the WMS. In addition you will be responsible for performing tasks associated with Pallet Management, stock takes and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise tasks, deadlines and targets to ensure customer SLAs are met
  • Monitor EDI orders and release orders through WMS
  • Despatching orders accurately
  • Confirm, coordinate and book transport
  • Maintain system parameters such as master data
  • Pallet Management and stocktake
  • Continuous improvement
  • Establish and develop relationships
 
Profile
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and transport
  • Experience in WMS
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation
  • Excellent communication skills
