As an Infrastructure Manager, you will work on a multiple of different project types in the infrastructure space within an IT Outsourcing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Interface with the Customer for issue resolution, status updates and project activities
  • Proactive management of project risks and issues throughout the delivery life cycle including conducting formal risk assessments
  • Manages the project Profit & Loss, budget, monitoring all costs and providing current and forecast reports for revenues, costs and invoices
  • Perform Project Assurance such as planned project audits and implement effective quality assurance and control procedures to ensure the project quality objectives are met
  • Participates in presales activities such as scoping, estimating and sizing, costing and budgeting, risk assessment, and proposal/Statement of Work preparation and negotiations
  • Manage project establishment activities such as organisation of facilities and resources, project plan and quality plan definition, project audit plan and schedule, project library set-up
  • Establish and maintain up to date work breakdown structures, project plans, schedules and progress measurements with reference to the project baseline
  • Liaise and build a rapport with the customer, any third parties provider 
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Proven Project Management experience in the IT field
  • Experience in the end to end delivery of IT Infrastructure projects
  • Proven proficiency in management of projects with small to medium complexity
  • Good knowledge of financial management (Accrual Accounting, Forecasting) and general business management
  • Certification; PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2 or equivalent is desired
  • Experience working within the Telecommunication sector
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and cost targets without compromising customer requirements
