A well-established life insurance business here in Singapore is looking for a highly-driven business development/sales professional with sales track record and innovative  propositions to step up as Section Head, Investment Linked Products. This role will report into the Head of Product and Portfolio Management in achieving targeted ILP sales mix.Together with your team, you will be responsible for the overall management, operations and reporting of ILP funds suite for agency and bancassurance channels.

Role

• Achieve yearly key performance indicators and growth in new ILP business premiums ILP & NBEV through the development and implementation of company & department business plans and product initiatives
• Build impeccable and in-depth knowledge on the company’s ILP product suite, its unique selling propositions and be an ILP product champion within the agency. Where applicable, to develop aids (e.g. sales kits) to help representatives in their marketing of ILP products and funds to their customers
• Develop appropriate monitoring system for existing and potential new funds with the purpose to keep the funds suite competitive
• Prepare, present and obtain approval from the appropriate forum to on-board new funds, restructure and remove non-performing funds according to company criteria and guidelines
• Responsible for leading, developing and engaging team members

Requirements

• Degree with qualification in Actuarial Science, Insurance, Finance or Marketing related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in business development, fund management or product development
• Sound analytical skills;  strong technical knowledge on financial and insurance concepts and have good quantitative abilities
• Exciting and innovative sales propositions; specifically in the area of ILP and Funds
• Know-how to engage and train sales professionals to deliver product sales
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
