Remuneration: $45 - $50 per hour

Maxima has been engaged to recruit an experienced and qualified Toolmaker to join our client’s dedicated team located in Mawson Lakes.
You will become a key contributor to a skilled team responsible for the maintenance, modification, and manufacture of high-precision mould tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and modify existing mould tooling to ensure top-notch functionality.
Manufacture new mould tooling to meet exacting standards and specifications.
Operate a variety of metalworking equipment, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC lathe (Mazak).
Work to precise specifications and perform precision measurements to produce high-quality parts.
Interpret and work from mould tooling drawings, ensuring all work is carried out accurately.
Maintain detailed records and documentation to support quality assurance processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience as a Toolmaker in the field of plastic injection moulds.
Experience with metalworking equipment, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC lathe (Mazak).
Strong ability to read and interpret mould tooling drawings.
High attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
Proven track record of producing high-quality parts to exact specifications.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records and documentation.
