Are you ready to be a part of Australia's renewable energy future? Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with Beon Energy Solutions, a leading company specializing in the design, construction, and commissioning of large-scale solar farms across Australia. 
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team to work on the Lauriston Solar Farm Project based in the Ashburton, Canterbury District. This exciting opportunity is slated to commence in October 2024. 
 
Position Details 
Employment Duration: Approximately 3 months 
Commencement date: October 2024 
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 57 hours per week 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
As a Solar Farm Labourer, your duties will include: 
  • Erecting and mounting frames and solar panels 
  • Lifting, relocating, and restocking materials, along with basic assembly 
  • General site cleaning and laboring duties, including using hand and power tools 
  • Engaging in physically demanding tasks and manual handling with meticulous attention to detail 
 
Requirements: 
To excel in this role, you must possess: 
  • Previous outdoor labouring experience, including the use of hand and power tools 
  • Need to have a Building Construction – Foundation Passport  
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment mobility/fitness assessment and drug & alcohol screening
