Responsbilities:
  • Takes ownership of all IT related request, tickets and any system related issues (as part of a team) and works with IT Teams, 3rd Party vendors, TCCC & BIG IT groups to determine a strategic approach to resolution.
  • Be local contact for end-user support, server and network related support as escalated by users.
  • Escalate issues beyond his scope of work or skills to Technical Service Manager for support or escalation.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Require to support monthly or planned outages and maintenance as per IT team’s requirement. Must be available to work in weekends and after office hour as required.
  • Assist with onboarding and off boarding new user, OS and deployment for new system using company standard hardware, software, and licenses. Ensures only company approved and licensed software is installed.
  • Performs regular software, hardware upgrades including BIOS updates and patching and perform daily system health check for all servers.
  • 24/7 x 365 days standby support - on site or remote and expect to respond to urgent cases and emergencies which may require
Job Requirements
  • At least 5 - 8 years of IT Technical Support experience.
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with at least 5 years of consistent hands on for on End-User Support, Data center management, servers and network equipment’s.
  • Competent in IT operations quality processes & SOPs – change management, documentation, security compliances, understands corporate audits and compliance requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows and Server OS such as Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008, 2016 and 2019 and manage and monitor all installed systems in Data Center Infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN communications and managed network and security appliances. (Fortigate, Bluecoat, CISCO – Meraki, Tipping Point and etc).
