Due to ongoing developments at program level our client has multiple requirements for a Senior Data Analyst to undergo a new and exciting program of work.     
The initial engagement will be 6+ months with the view to extend.

You will be integral to helping its vision by playing a key role in the delivery of business and data insights and business intelligence projects for the business. Your expertise will be a data (BCBS239 ideally) and/or business analyst who has proven experience across complex data programs.

Responsibilities and skills required include:
  • Understand, explore and document data fundamentals across multiple systems to provide future state analysis.
  • Work with system specialists and SME's deep diving into data streams and identify data and process gaps.
  • Lead the end to end process from discovery phase, analysis and testing to  working with SME's and the business units.
  • While you will be working with technical experts experience working within data led projects.
  • Understanding/defining data flows (via database tables, batch files, real time interfaces) and tools (SQL, ETL tools etc) is essential.
  • Previous experience in analysing and defining data controls and management
  • Strong facilitation, communication and influencing skills are required, with the ability to produce high quality documentation to an exceptional quality standard
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement is expected and will require active stakeholder management to build strong and effective relationships by demonstrating high professional standards and being able to engage business stakeholders in conversations
  • The candidate must be able to work autonomously to complete assigned deliverables according to program timelines
  • Ability to work in a Greenfields environment as the program is an innovative new initiative
  • High level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project principles and practices with a tailored Agile development approach to fit large, complex, business critical projects with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.
  • Exposure in developing functional system requirements based on extensive software development and implementation experience
