This Injury Management Case Specialist role is based in the Ultimo area close to public transport and amenities. It a 3-month contract role, with an early July start. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialised WHS operational services with a specific focus on injury management to ensure cases are managed efficiently.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide guidance & support to line managers in effective management of care claims & non-work-related injuries.
  • Implement & manage the Workers Compensation portfolio for regional campuses in compliance with regulatory, legislative & NSW policies.
  • The development & implementation of Early Intervention and Return to Works plans.
  • Review workers’ compensation claims with the insurer to ensure efficient claims management.
  • Interact with stakeholders & provide efficient advice on the resolution of workers’ compensation issues.
  • Promote a positive safe culture using health & safety consultation & communication strategies.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service & make sure to place the customer at the centre of all decision making.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Injury Management Case Specialist to gain experienced within the NSW Government.  

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills.
  • Advanced Return to Work Coordinator course.
  • Knowledge of Safe Work NSW Legislation.
Essential Requirements:
  • Unrestricted NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check is required.
  • Willing to undertake a Police Check.
