Infrastructure Architect Lead, Asia

Responsibilities:

Understand business requirements, design and implement infrastructure server system with all its components including server hardware, operating systems, virtualisation, storage, backup, database
Analyse system conditions, recommend alternatives technologies, integration plan and improvements to enhance infrastructure server systems to ensure high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reliability upon deployment.
Contribute to the development of the architecture roadmap for infrastructure server (hardware, operating systems, virtualisation, storage, backup, database).
Carry on leadership role for server platform team to manage people strengths, weaknesses, expectations and workload balance.
Maintain and adjust the framework for build-the-bank and run-the-bank to harmonize the requirement of developing and sustaining server platform infrastructure
Create technical standards and architecture specifications
Support escalation for infrastructure server platform incidents

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or closely related field and 5 years of experience in managing organizations of 10 or more people or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expert certifications in IT architecture (TOGAF, CITA, SOA), Windows (MCSE), VMware (VCP-DCV)
Industrial certification: ITIL
Intensive knowledge in Windows, VMware VSI/VDI, AD, SCCM, Storage, Backup, HCI
Knowledge about project management.
10+ experience in infrastructure server platform domain (Windows, VMware VSI/VDI, AD, SCCM, Storage, Backup, HCI) involving solution design, system support escalation and high level project control
Must have a thorough knowledge and skillset of Windows, VMware VSI/VDI, AD, Storage, Backup, HCI, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software.
Experience with HA architecture options for Microsoft technologies as well as backup and recovery solutions and requirements.
SCCM administration, deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance.
5+ years leadership experience as Infrastructure Manager or Server Platform Lead or Infrastructure Architect
Proven ability to work well in a challenging technical environment, with ability to multitask whilst delivering high quality solutions
Team oriented and team player
Ability to function independently
