Apply: Head of Legal (Telecommunications)

My client is a leading player within the Telecommunications sector, and they are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to head up their legal team in Singapore.

As head of the department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day legal matters arising from their business operations, and providing the necessary legal support to the respective business functions (Finance, IT, HR, etc.) as and when required. In addition, as part of the senior management committee, you will also be involved in major commercial decisions, and play an important role in providing strategic legal advice in areas of identifying new business opportunities/trends, mitigating risk, and evaluation of existing business portfolios.

In this role, you will also be required to manage all Corporate Secretarial matters in relation to SGX Listing compliance matters as well as announcements, shareholders' circulars and annual report.

Requirements:

• 8+ PQE, gained from both private practice and inhouse
• Prior experience gained from a Technology/Telecommunications company
• ICT Experience will be highly preferred
• Strong Contract Management Experience
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
