Our client a Leading NSW Government Department based in the CBD have an initial  12 month contract (with high potential for extension) for a Project Officer, with a background in Design/Architecture to join their team.
The role will involve  managing and coordinating the updating of EFSG content for inclusion on the website by working with the EFSG agile team and business systems. The role will also provide advice, guidance and support on the quality of the content and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to promote a culture of knowledge sharing across the organisation.
 
 
Key accountabilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of EFSG content including project planning and coordinating the development and implementation of the content by the Technical Standards team for inclusion on the website
  • Develop a working relationship with Business Systems to manage clear lines of responsibility for the development of content by the EFSG team and the managing and uploading of content by the Business Systems team
  • Be responsible for managing procurement contracts and any changes in scope and variations with contracts in a timely manner
  • Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based project
  • planning and decision making
  • Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues relating specifically to the EFSG content management and support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other business priorities
  • Coordinate meetings with EFSG Technical Standards team and business enablement
  • including taking minutes, managing actions and keeping a register of tasks to be closed out
  • Develop project plans, coordinate internal and external resources and meet reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and in accordance with agreed quality standards and established project management methodology.
  • Prepare evidenced-based reports, briefings and regular project-status updates to facilitate timely and professional communications and ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept informed on project progress and completion
 
In order to e eligible for his role you will have
  • Previous Project Management Experience
  • Experience in Design/Architecture
  • Experience in a NSW Government Department is highly desirable
