Our client is a leading Global Insurance group with superb culture and brand name in the market which is second to none. They are currently looking for an insurance finance professional with strong insurance accounting knowledge to join the team and drive the implementation of the new IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 accounting standards.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will focus on:


• Driving the creation of new statutory financial reports. Identifying and implementing required changes.
• Development of accounting policies, including assessing impacts of accounting policy decisions.
• Assisting with the changes required for management and board reporting.
• Evaluating and delivering necessary input and changes to planning and forecasting.
• Design of the sub-ledger / general ledger.
• Working with the Finance System Specialists to direct necessary mapping required for inputs into and out of general ledger.
• Develop a controls framework including data reconciliations.
• Through active industry participation tailoring the approach based on Industry interpretation.

This role would suit a CA/CPA qualified finance manager/senior finance manager from the insurance industry with strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience and a track record of driving change and projects within financial control.
