Contract Rate: Up to $1,000/day + super (depending on experience)

About the role

We are seeking two Senior Infrastructure Services Specialists to join a highly experienced Mainframe Security team supporting a major enterprise transformation program alongside BAU operations. This is a hands-on technical role suited to senior mainframe security specialists with deep expertise in access control, encryption, and secure system configuration.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on project and BAU support within the Mainframe Security environment
  • Administer and support mainframe security platforms (RACF and/or ACF2)
  • Implement and maintain secure access controls, privileged access, and audit compliance
  • Support encryption technologies within a mainframe environment
  • Contribute to large-scale transformation and uplift initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security-related incidents and issues
  • Collaborate with engineers across the wider Mainframe & Infrastructure Services division
Skills & experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in mainframe security
  • 3+ years in a senior, highly technical hands-on role
  • Strong experience with RACF and/or ACF2
  • Solid understanding of encryption technologies in mainframe environments
  • Experience securing z/OS and related mainframe tooling
  • Programming/scripting experience using COBOL, PL/I, REXX
  • Python experience highly regarded (automation/integration)
  • Experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments
