This Lead Design position is one that most only dream about in their career, located in the CBD of Melbourne; you will design some of the countries most palatable Interiors.  

The Firm
FutureYou has partnered exclusively with an nationally recognised Design Firm with studios across the country. Their offices are located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth - and soon operations will be expanding into New Zealand and Shanghai.

The Role
An opportunity exists for Lead Designer to join this practice to work across a range of exciting commercial / workplace projects that are in the pipeline. This exciting opportunity will see you lead; manage; develop and grow your team; and will define you as a Leader in your field. This studio will allow you to develop your own personal brand – as well as ensuring you are at the forefront in the design conversation.

You will have the capability; and track-record of demonstrating your acute design aesthetic; resolving your initial concept into a built form. You will be responsible for producing and facilitating design of highest quality and contributing to outstanding project outcomes.  

You will need to be able to effectively communicate as well as having the capabilities to pitch and brief all stakeholders involved.

About You 
You will be an accomplished Designer with a minimum of 6 Years’ experience; working across workplace and commercial project typologies. You will be capable of pitching and briefing and being able to translate your design methodology into a built form.   

Strong attention to detail is essential coupled with your acute aesthetic sense; you have a proven track record of creating through-out and design driven design solutions that set the new standard in design.

You will be an effective communicator, client facing, personable and the ability to instil confidence in consultants, team members and clients. The ability to establish, build and maintain strong relationships across client and stakeholders is part of your acumen.
