Head of Technology Operations (Singapore)

For a leading technology and telecommunication client, we are seeking a senior executive to manage the operations of a broad technology remit. The role will be a senior member of the organization’s technology team and oversee a comprehensive portfolio related to operations. The company is a household brand in Singapore and is heavily involved in the majority of Singaporean’s day-to-day lives.

This position provides the strategic leadership, oversight, financial administration, regulatory compliance and coordination of all aspects of operational planning, infrastructure management, operation & maintenance, event & incident management, change management and continuous service improvements. This is a leadership position and is responsible for a team of circa 50 FTEs.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and lead operations, develop and inspire the respective teams
Provide thought leadership, support engineering, and ensure delivery of excellent customer experience
Lead the team to scale up automation and strengthen infrastructure resiliency
Lead Incident Management and Service Recovery
Lead the team to develop and drive Operational Excellence initiatives to increase automation, increase efficiencies with aim to optimize resources, and year-on-year increased productivity.
Be accountable for operational reports
Lead the team to deliver cost transformation in managing the OPEX and CAPEX budgets

Requirements:

A Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Applied Science / Information Technology from a recognized institution.
10-15 years of relevant working experience
Strong financial and commercial acumen to continuously focus on ways to improve productivity
Experience leading large operations teams (30-50 Heads) in technology, infrastructure capacity
Technology experience in banking, semiconductor, telecom industries will be considered
Operational experience in Network/Systems Operations, IT Infrastructure, Network Security, Software patch management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management.
