The Organisation & The Role

Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform credit risk assessment, structuring and execution of debt finance transactions including leveraged buyout, acquisition finance and general funding requirements for corporates and financial institutions.
  • Cover diversified sectors including Manufacturing, Trade Finance, Transportation & Warehousing, Finance & Insurance, Agriculture, Business Services etc.
  • Preparation and presentation of credit due diligence reports, rating recommendations, risk alert assessments and on-going monitoring of credit performance.
  • Liaise with business functions to facilitate credit application and approval process.
  • Provide guidance to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate any potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors and transaction structures.
  • Other credit and risk management related tasks as assigned.

Skill Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit risk management in Corporate, Commercial or Investment Banking.
  • Independent decision making skills and be able to identify risks with reasonable solutions provided.
  • Ability to write comprehensive credit proposals by analysing company accounts, assessing cash flows and modelling projections.
  • Ability to undertake basic industry comparative studies and make appropriate counterparty and transactional recommendations. 
  • Tertiary Degree in Commerce / Business / Finance
  • Good knowledge of bilateral and syndicated loan facilities with investment grade, sub-investment grade and leveraged counterparties.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modelling, data manipulation and analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills both in Chinese Mandarin is desirable
