Due to an internal move, my client a major ASX listed financial services group, is looking to hire an experienced FPA Manager to assist not only with core business unit reporting deliverables, but also help drive the ongoing development of reporting capabilities for performance analysis and key business metrics with the aim of driving  bottom line profitability.

Key responsibilities of the role will focus on:
  • Provide insights and analysis to help drive business performance
  • Exstensive project based deliverables - act as a SME for several key projects focused on improving business reporting to assist with overall decision making
  • Review and present to business heads and COOs on key performance metrics
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
Key requirements for this role will include:
  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualification
  • A background in delivery of core financial management tasks (performance reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting)
  • Knowledge of and experience working in the Financial Services sector preferred with specific Institutional or Corporate Banking experience highly regarded
  • Strong finance partnering skills with impeccable communication skills
  • Financial modelling experience coupled with proven business partnering and decision support capabilities
  • Project management skills with experience operating as a Finance SME as part of a larger system or process integration project
