Our client is a leading financial services organisation within Australia and we’re seeking a professional and experienced Senior Program Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head of Programs, your key responsibilities as Program Manager will include:
  • Leading and managing a large business and technology based program to ensure delivery is on time, budget, and within quality, taking ownership, and overseeing the program through to completion.
  • Work collaboratively with the client to align all key stakeholders into one team that has a shared vision and path to success.
  • Ensuring transparency in reporting and all communications, strong stakeholder management and implementing rigorous program management and control disciplines will enable you to meet the client's expectations and deliver a high-quality service.
  • Working with other senior stakeholders and program professionals to provide your insights and collaborate with others to deliver a high-quality solution.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following skills / experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of Program Management experience
  • Financial Services Industry experience and an intimate understanding of the lifecycle of lending from a business and technology landscape.
  • Strong experience leading project teams in the successful delivery of complex projects.
  • Experience of large-scale platform and data migrations, involving both internal and external project teams in a highly regulated environment.
  • Managing program and project deliverables in line with our client’s chosen methodologies and processes.
  • Supporting the creation and improvement of processes, tools and governance.
  • Managing risks and issues, schedule, scope, budget, quality and outcomes.
  • Supplier and vendor management.
  • Performing status reporting as required.
  • Solid experience demonstrating communication and influencing skills, able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Liaising with technology, project and business stakeholders with regards to delivery activities.
  • Contributing and participating in any and all project activities to ensure successful delivery of program outcomes.
  • Guiding, mentoring and directing project managers, business analysts, vendors and delivery teams to maximise performance and alignment to program outcomes.
