The Role:

These newly added headcounts are to support this Big4 bank in achieving desired risk and reward balance of the secured or unsecured portfolio (as applicable).


Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform consumer credit assessments for a combination of secured and unsecured lending applications coming through the system - with a focus on mortgage applications
  • Make credit decisions concerning credit limits, acceptable risk levels and payment terms
  • Continuously achieve and maintain service level agreements
  • Keep abreast of consumer lending regulations and industry updates to refine current credit policies
  • Deliver high quality credit decisions working towards achieving desired risk and reward balance
  • Provide coaching and ongoing feedback to new credit team members as well as front-line bankers

Skill Requirements:
  • 2+ years of consumer credit assessment / decisioning experience 
  • Basic skills of analysing consumer financials for credit decisioning
  • Good knowledge of NCCP requirements underpinning home loans, credit cards and personal loan products
  • Independent decision making skills and be able to identify risks with reasonable solutions provided
  • Strong attention to detail and great teamwork spirit
  • Tertiary Degree in Commerce / Business / Finance is desirable
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic banking CRMs
