AO5 Projects Support & Controls Officer | Brisbane CBD | 12-Month Contract

We are looking for an experienced AO5 Projects Support & Controls Officer that’s a strong all-rounder who can coordinate executive-facing work, manage high-level documentation, and keep priorities moving in a fast-paced environment for a 12-month assignment (with possible 12-month extension) based in Brisbane CBD.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide high-level project and business support to senior stakeholders
  • Coordinate high-level corporate documentation and processes (incl. COI, Parliamentary and Estimates-related items)
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, briefs and reports
  • Support reporting requirements and emerging priority work across the business unit
  • Use systems such as Aurion, SAP and Power BI (or similar) to generate reports and interpret information
  • Assist with procurement and general coordination tasks as required
What we’re looking for
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior executive/senior officer office environment (highly regarded)
  • Strong coordination, writing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence working with reporting tools / information systems (Aurion, SAP, Power BI or similar)
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
