A leading global brokerage is expanding its derivatives footprint in Asia and hiring a Gas Derivatives Broker as part of a strategic build-out in the region.
This is an opportunity to join a newly launched desk focused on LPG/LNG paper products, working directly with global leadership to grow the firm’s offering across APAC.
Key Responsibilities:

• Broker gas-related paper products including swaps, options, and FFAs
• Engage with energy majors, trading houses, and financial institutions across APAC
• Support clients with price discovery, hedging strategies, and risk management
• Collaborate with global desks to align product and execution strategy
• Contribute to the desk’s early-stage growth with direct exposure to senior leadership

Your Background

• 2–6 years of experience in commodities trading or broking, preferably in gas or freight markets
• Familiarity with swaps, options, or FFAs (Forward Freight Agreements)
• Strong commercial instincts and client relationship-building skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to contribute to a new platform build-out
