Apply: FinTech Compliance - Cloud (IaaS)

 A global technology business with an expanding suite of enterprise solutions is currently seeking a compliance specialist to act in an advisory capacity to their portfolio of financial services clients, including international banks, asset managers and insurers.
 
Working closely with key client stakeholders (CISO / CTO / CCO / CRO etc.), this role has a specific focus on addressing client compliance, governance and risk frameworks in preparation for the migration of regulated data and workloads into a cloud-based environment.
 
Key responsibilities will include:
 

• Involvement in regulatory compliance assessments for financial services organisations, developing recommendations to implement a robust control environment
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for regional regulatory requirements (HKMA, MAS, JFSA etc.) with comprehensive knowledge of best practices surrounding cybersecurity, internet security and information processing
• Play a key role as the primary compliance liaison with for financial services clientele, partnering with businesses as a credible and expert advisor on governance practices
• Keep current with industry trends and compliance policy amendments / additions, demonstrating an understanding of their impact on the client base

 
Key experience / skills sought:
 

• 5+ years’ experience in a financial services control function (compliance, audit, risk, governance etc.)
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements for non-traditional IT environments (i.e. cloud) and incumbent risks
• Experience in developing and defining bespoke compliance roadmaps based on specific and niche client requirements
• Keen interest in financial technology solution, specifically cloud computing / Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
