Join a well-established insurance business in the Singapore market, and work with a robust team of claims professionals. As Manager/Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for strategic and operational responsibilities in processing and assessing claims transactions and decisions within the required benchmarks and authority limits towards the company’s clients, services providers and intermediaries. Specifically, you will be managing majority of incoming and existing claims from shield products/portfolio. You will be expected to work collaboratively and effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve end outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure claims settlement are handled promptly, accurately and fairly.
• Support and provide training to intermediaries or customers on claims processes or policy coverage.
• Timeliness in reports preparation and completion of assigned tasks.
• Effectively managing complaints from customers and intermediaries, collaborate closely with distribution and customer service teams.
• Maintain discipline in BAU work
• Ensure all claims documentation and procedures adhere to company and claims management requirements
• Ensure key risks have been understood, identified and managed and/that, where concerns or doubts exist, are raised with line management.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including personal regulatory accountability in relation to fitness and propriety), and relevant business standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree Holder. Nursing, Microbiology, Pharmacy related qualifications are highly desirable
• You should have consolidated solid claims experience in life insurance, specifically shield/medical claims handling.
• Previous experience in international health insurers will also be well-considered.
• Results-oriented
• Strong team player; be collaborative, willing to share knowledge and learn from others
• Exhibit good communication and written English skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications i.e Microsoft Office
