Apply: Audit Manager - CONTRACT

Join this prominent FS group and be part of this highly impressive team. This is a 6 months fixed term contract and you will operate at Audit Manager level. It is essential that you have gained Internal Audit experience in the FS sector, ideally in either WM / Insurance (GI/Re-Insurance or Life).
 
Some of your duties will be to:
Oversee and conduct cross functional audits to assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with selected policies, procedures and regulations;
Specialist audit experience in areas such as fund withdrawals, underwriting, claims, sales, distribution, product lifecycle and or actuarial will be a distinct advantageous;
Manage Annual/Quarterly/Ad-hoc Audit Reporting;
Draft audit reports ensure recommendations are agreed and accepted by the audited group;
Stakeholder relationship management and ability to present your findings in a confident manner.
 
Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum 6 years of auditing experience, either from internal or external audit / risk or SOX;
CA Qualifications or equivalent such as ACCA / CPA / CISA or CIA preferred;
Proven track record in managing audit processes with a broad-based knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the FS sector, ideally the WM or Insurance industry;
Possess the ability to apply commercial thinking to provide professional advice in audit context;
Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to communicate effectively externally and internally with all levels.
This is a CONTRACT position initially and will lead to potential opportunities into Line 1 or Line 2 Risk in early 2021.
