IT Infra Manager

Main Accountabilities:
This role will oversee end to end infrastructure management to drive business efficiency and innovation.

Overall owner on the design and implementation of our vessels' IT infrastructure;
Lead a team of vessel IT Support Engineers to provide remote support to vessels, crew and on-board support (when needed);
Install, configure and troubleshooting physical/virtual machines, laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, server/storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications);
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability;
Perform system and network updates/upgrades/tech refresh;
Maintain IT security and backup solutions;
Liaise with vendors, email providers and other IT personnel for problem resolution or when new tasks are needed;
Provide out-of-business hours/weekend support as part of an on-call rota;
Work with the shore team on adopting and driving governance and compliance for IT policies, procedures and guidelines;
Support the respective vessel audits (annual audit).

Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Intelligence or related field required (Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred);
More than 5 years of relevant vessel IT/OT experience is mandatory;
Experienced with Vessel Sat-Com, PMS, Safety, Crewing application deployment and maintenance, Vessel related IT Infrastructure/Security/Mail/Application, Airtime, Navigation and otherCommunication related systems;
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications (Office 365, MS Windows server,
Windows 10, Hyper-V, Active Directory), Antivirus, network switches, UPS, firewalls, storage/backup
and replication systems (Certifications will be considered a plus);
Exposure to cyber security solutions, implementation and support;
Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, data cabling and WiFi infrastructure;
Knowledge of ships automation systems is important. Good written and oral communication skills.
