The Organisation:

A thriving foreign bank in Australia is looking for a self motivated accounting junior with 1-3 years of working experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector. You will receive training on corporate & institutional banking operations whilst applying your accounting knowledge into commercial practice. 
 

Responsibilities:
  • Process Treasury transactions
  • Process Loan Business related transactions
  • Process Payments & Settlements
  • Transactions clearing
  • Monitor accounting activities and files
  • Manage Interbank accounts (Nostro)
  • Manage important Blank Voucher
  • Handle SWIFT payments and confirmations
  • Handle AUSTRACLEAR and RITS payments

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Finance / Accounting 
  • At least 2 years working experience in financial institution, preferably in an accounting or operations function.
  • Self organised and motivated operator with high level of independence and integrity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Proficient in both English and Simplified Chinese - spoken and written.
