This is a role not to be missed…with your extensive vet industry background & project management experience, you will have the opportunity to be part of innovative expansions taking place at PETstock VET!

Based at our South Melbourne Office, you will take the lead of an exciting PETstock VET project & be responsible for:
  • Scoping of the overall project, working cross functionally to ensure all stakeholder needs are addressed in project scope
  • Ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on time and on budget (Number of mobile consults, number of instore consults etc)
  • Liaise with internal key stakeholders to document and interpret their requirements, ensuring requirements are accurate & clearly defined
  • Actively manage, mitigate, and communicate variations, providing business wide visibility across project planning & timelines
  • Oversee the implementation of the appropriate project software
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Support change management plans to deliver project on time in full and within budget
  • Submit relevant documentation and plans to required authorities to deliver project requirements
  • Work with the Talent Team, in particular NSW & QLD partner consultants from AMV to recruit suitable Vets to PETstock VET
  • Ensure PETstock's professional standards are maintained and company objectives in relation to budget targets, service quality, company reputation, OH&S and environmental standards are met and take responsibility for compliance with external and internal standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Experience in a vet operational role or completion of projects in a vet environment
  • Experience in project management &/or change management, delivering projects on time, within budget
  • A good knowledge of financial management procedures relating to project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, cost management and reporting
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
  • Strategic thinking to analyse complex situations, develop creative solutions and achieve outcomes that advance the Programs objectives whilst having regard to policy guidelines, organisation practice and company goals.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a professional approach to maintaining contractor, authority, and stakeholder relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet demands/priorities, to ensure satisfactory completion
  • The ability to manage priorities in a changing environment, with an emphasis on meeting client requirements within defined timeframes and budgets
