About the Role

As the Fundraising Manager – Events & Community, you will support the Foundation's Events strategy, through the planning and delivery of the Foundation’s major fundraising events and community fundraising programs. This includes end‑to‑end leadership of flagship events such as Run 4 Geelong, Geelong’s Longest Lunch and Barwon Health Foundation's Giving Weekend. You will drive participation, ticket sales, fundraising income and supporter engagement, ensuring every event delivers exceptional experiences and strong financial outcomes.

This is a highly visible, community‑facing role where you will represent the Foundation at events, presentations and stakeholder engagements, building strong relationships with community groups, schools, clubs, corporate partners and third‑party fundraisers. You will bring innovation, commercial acumen and a passion for community connection to grow revenue, elevate supporter experience and strengthen the Foundation’s impact.

About You

You are an experienced fundraising and events professional with a proven track record in delivering large‑scale events, driving revenue growth and building strong community engagement. Highly organised, strategic and commercially minded, you thrive in fast‑paced environments and bring both creativity and discipline to your work.

You are warm, engaging and donor‑focused, with exceptional stakeholder management skills and the confidence to represent the Foundation across the community. Calm under pressure and values‑driven, you understand that the smallest details matter just as much as the big moments—and you are motivated by the knowledge that every dollar raised directly improves care for patients and families in our region.
