Our banking client is investing heavily in research and innovation. They are seeking a technologist and Product Owner to help ensure that the business strategy is supported by IT investment, not allowing technology to drive the business's agenda.  You will work closely with business divisions to ensure priority is given to projects that improve customer experience through technology innovation.

To be a success in this role, you will:
  • Have a background in banking solution development and implementation
  • Have held a Product Owner role, ideally being Agile Product Owner certified
  • Have a genuine interest in technology solutioning and innovation
  • Have an appreciation of Agile delivery methodology and principles
  • Have consulting and advisory expertise to influence technology adoption decision-making
  • Have a broad understanding of the banking competitor landscape, including start-ups and scale-ups
  • Have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Have demonstrable experience in technology strategy and planning
This is a great opportunity to be part of the strategic conversations and the technology strategy execution for the next generation of banking products and services.  The base salary is around $160K with bonus and super on top.
