An exciting opportunity has opened up within a prestigious Banking and Finance organisation for a Senior Test Analyst within their Data Warehouse Team

As a Senior member of the testing team you will be a key contributor, working in medium to large project sized agile teams working on the solutions delivered and supported within this business area.

This position will allow you to utilise your already impressive background in functional testing whilst having the ability to showcase your impressive MS SQL server knowledge.

The role is for an initial 6 month contract with the view to start within the next 4-6 weeks. 

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the testing team to develop estimates, effective strategies, and test plans
  • Review and analyse system specifications for the migration of Data
  • Excellent SQL writing queries and ingesting data
  • Ensuring testing activities are delivered on time and within scope
  • Using SQL Server / Postgres database environments to validate processing accuracy
  • Functional, Database, System, Integration, end-to-end and regression testing
  • Execute test cases and analyse results
  • Experience assisting in troubleshooting issues. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. 
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks 
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude 

Skills Required
  • Experience within the wealth management or Superannuation domain (desirable)
  • 3+ years working within a Data Warehouse environment
  • Excellent skills on MS SQL including writing queries
  • Experienced in Data Migration and Database Testing
  • 5+ years working as a functional test analyst
  • A background in Data Analytics and Reporting is highly regarded
  • Experienced using JIRA, Confluence and MS Excel
