APAC Hub Leader – IT Front Line Services

We have an exceptional and rare opportunity for an experienced senior IT Operations Leader to take on a newly created APAC Leadership position.

As the APAC Hub Leader, you will oversee a range of functions to ensure the seamless delivery of superior services to our people throughout the APAC region. The Hub Leader plays a critical role in enhancing the end-user experience, ensuring the smooth delivery of top-notch services, and meeting and exceeding the expectations of the end-users.

As a key member of the front-line services leadership team, you will be responsible for:

Developing and enhancing the FLS organisation to improve the end-user experience.
Driving the APAC region towards common standards and standard operating procedures to ensure that teams are not implementing siloed solutions.
Implementing standardised and aligned Global IT processes while considering local business needs and establishing adherence to standard working practices across the function.
Owning operational decisions in the Hub that align with global standards, such as network implementation.
Ensuring that day-to-day operations throughout the Hub meet and exceed expectations.
Establishing a budget for the required resources within the Hub and providing input to funding and financing for the enterprise functions.
Compiling and communicating APAC regional needs and priorities to enterprise functions from a Hub perspective.
Building long-term relationships with direct reports and team members across the APAC region by being a trusted leader and advisor.
Effectively acting as a remote line leader for geographically dispersed team members, managing, coaching, and mentoring employees.

To succeed in this role, you will have the following:

A bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Professional certification in ITIL is preferred.
At least 15 years of experience in a similar IT Operations role.
Knowledge or experience in Risk Management and IT Service Management.
Leadership experience managing teams that are remote and geographically dispersed.
A global mindset and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with operations-oriented team members, executives, and WSP employees across different regions and cultures.
