The newly created Ascential Video Team is the video content creation unit of Ascential plc. Creating content across Ascential’s top brands means working alongside global leaders and visionaries in the industries that Ascential serves. This team will be producing world class content showcasing the power of Ascential’s brands. This is an opportunity to be part of the founding team that has big ambitions and aims to rival leading consumer media outlets.

Ascential Plc is looking for a Senior Video Producer to join its internal video production arm Ascential Video, leading its operation in NY. As a shreditor (shooter, producer & editor) you will be working with stakeholders across the group and external partners. This is the perfect opportunity for somebody that is currently working as a producer and wants to take the next step up as a Senior,. You will develop & produce original video content for our brands.

Key Accountabilities
  • Developing ideas for original videos
  • Shooting & editing
  • Coordinating video production shoots
  • Experimenting with different formats
  • Making improvements to operational processes (we are continually iterating)
  • Manage 2 team members

Qualifications/Experience
  • 4+ years of video production experience.
  • Experience as a camera operator and editor
  • Experience with lighting and music selection
  • Experience managing other people
  • Understanding of social video and what makes video content engaging and shareable

IT Experience
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro and Photoshop,
  • Microsoft Office
