Chandler Macleod is working with a dynamic local council in Sydney looking for a passionate Health and Wellbeing Business Partner. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by promoting mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing across the organisation.

About the Role
You’ll be driving the rollout of the Council’s Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy and leading a range of health and wellbeing programs. It’s a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll collaborate with People & Culture, Safety, and Workers Compensation teams to build a strong, supportive work environment.

Coordinate and deliver health and wellbeing initiatives
Provide advice on psychological safety and mental health at work
Run wellbeing workshops, training, and employee programs
Monitor wellbeing data and report on progress
Maintain resources, policies, and the psychosocial risk dashboard
Keep up with industry trends and recommend new ideas

About You
You’re someone who’s passionate about creating healthy workplaces and knows how to turn strategy into action.

You will have:

4+ years experience in wellbeing, psychological safety, or injury management
A degree in Psychology or a related field
Strong stakeholder and project management skills
Confident analysing data and presenting insights
Great communicator, both written and verbal

Desirable:

Experience in local or state government
