Our client, a leading NSW Government Department seek an experienced Senior Project Manager or Program Manager with extensive property and accommodation program delivery experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, passionate about delivery and with articulate stakeholder management expertise, first-rate at partnering with the business to achieve transformation through a combination of smart accommodation and technology solutions. We are seeking a qualified project professional, a first class written and oral communicator with exceptional standards of project governance, managerial finance and documentation.
 
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this leadership role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to establish the processes, structure and delivery frameworks required to deliver an ambitious project pipeline across an entire government cluster. Demonstrable experience in doing the same across large enterprise or government will be essential.
 
Reporting to the Director of Workplace Services, this is a key position at a crucial time which will directly shape, support and deliver a modern workplace across the Organisation.
 
Key skills and experience:

• 5 years + senior project or more program management experience leading teams of project managers to deliver strategic organisational outcomes across diverse enterprise structures
• 8 years or more project management experience directly leading business relocation, corporate fit-out or other property-related projects 
• Ideally certified (Prince2, Lean, Agile, PMP) 
• Strong accountability and stakeholder management acumen, with referenceable experience managing senior business stakeholders and vendors across a wide multi-sourced environments
• Excellent skills in reporting, project scope, change and schedule management, financial management, benefits realisation, risk and issue management with an uncompromising commitment to quality outcomes.
• Stable work history, with both government and private industry experience highly regarded.
