Reporting to the GM, Business Unit Finance they have a superb commercial finance opportunity for a senior finance business partner with a deep general insurance background. This is a senior position which will see you provide actionable insights to business stakeholders at the GM and EGM level to support decisions to drive business growth and profitability.

Key deliverables will include:

• Provide financial advice and insight to support achievement of business plans and optimise growth and margin
• Develop annual budgets and regular forecasts of the P&L
• Ensure project business cases, budgets and forecasts are robust.
• Ensure the logic behind expense allocations are robust, transparent and driver-based where possible.
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and automation of finance processes and analytical tasks both onshore and offshore.
• Deliver an accurate and timely monthly close process, while implementing continuous process improvements.
• Contribute to development of understanding of the external environment, particularly as it relates to benchmarking vs competitors.
• Mentor and coach team of finance business partners

You will be a Senior Manager level Finance Business Partner with a deep knowledge of the business drivers of General Insurance, a demonstrable track record of team leadership and highly skilled in managing business stakeholders at the most senior levels.
