Apply: Project Manager - Community Housing

Our client, a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Projetc Manager to join their team until Febraruary 2022 with potential for an extension.
 
The role would suit a financially savvy person with strong project management & stakeholder engagement skills

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a new Master Services Agreement (MSA). Rolling out initially across Property Management Transfers Program working closely with  the clients Community Housing Providers.
 
You will work closely with internal teams including Sector Investment and Development, Housing Client Services and Property and Finance, and externally with other key stakeholders to ensure provider management and growth opportunities align with legal, performance, regulatory and allocations processes.
 
The position reports Program and Change Lead within the Sector Investment and Development Division and will be required to work very closely with Project Leads across the Program (Property Management Transfers, High Cost Community Support Pilot, Growth Providers and Rent Policy).

Essential requirements

• Extensive Management and Project Management experience;
• Strong financial and legal acumen;
• Strong data and business analysis skills;
• Ability to work in an Agile Program environment where there are multiple concurrent projects across the Department;
• Strong engagement and co-design skills;
• Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs and attitudes and of the socio-economic position of Aboriginal people within Australian society, and of their impacts in relation to housing;
