Director – Network Banking Coverage (Singapore)

A reputable regional bank is seeking a senior coverage banker to drive corporate client growth with a strong focus on the China–ASEAN trade corridor. The role centres on expanding regional relationships, originating strategic financing opportunities, and delivering integrated solutions across trade, lending, and treasury.

Responsibilities:

Lead client acquisition and deepen relationships with regional and China-linked corporates engaged in cross-border trade and investment.
Originate and structure bespoke financing and trade solutions, working closely with product teams across the region.
Drive revenue growth through disciplined account planning, proactive pipeline development, and strong portfolio oversight.
Provide clear credit insights, support credit approvals, and ensure high-quality execution across deals and onboarding.
Maintain strong market awareness to identify new opportunities and advise clients on emerging trends along the China corridor.

Requirements

12+ years’ experience in corporate or investment banking, with solid trade finance knowledge.
Proven track record originating and executing corporate banking deals across ASEAN.
Strong senior-level corporate relationships, ideally including both international and Chinese clients.
Excellent stakeholder management, credit skills, and ability to navigate cross-border environments.
