This leading Wealth Manager is seeking a high performing individual to take ownership for the delivery of the statutory and regulatory reporting requirements as well as partnering with the business to provide meaningful financial insights and analysis.      

Your key responsibilities will include:      
  • Preparation of financial statements and statutory reports for a number of Superfunds and Wealth entities
  • Ensure integrity of the general ledger primarily for the Superfunds
  • Quarterly and annual APRA reporting requirements
  • Interpretation of AIFRS and development of accounting policies for the group 
  • Drive process and system change on an ad-hoc basis     

Key background requirements include:
  • CA / CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience gained in the Financial Services / Wealth Management sector (Superfund experience preferred)
  • Proven technical accounting skills including experience preparing statutory accounts for Superfunds
  • Previous experience preparing quarterly APRA reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and accounting principles
    The ability to work effectively in a results driven environment coupled with a flair for identifying weaknesses and driving process change and automation

** This role is a six month contract with view to permanent and is ideally suited to individuals who are either immediately available or with a 1 - 2 week notice period **
