3-5 years’ experience preferably in either Healthcare or Corpcare or chemical industry (market knowledge is critical)

Responsibilities:

To develop new business by identifying potential sales opportunities and by following up new leads and sample requests.
Manages territory priorities and appropriate routes to market. Supports identification of new trends and markets which will impact future performance and requirements for the business. Provides commercial guidance on product support and new product developments which will impact future performance.
To report promptly on business (e.g. C2G visit reports) in the designated market, identifying any threats or opportunities as they arise. To identify and implement improvement plans. To gather data on market prices and competitor behaviour and feedback to the relevant Sales & marketing teams. Review supply and distribution channels into each market. Where applicable, implement distributor scorecards in order to drive performance. Propose and implement changes in order to drive channel performance, including the termination/change/appointment of distributors, working with internal stakeholders to complete transitions needed such as legal and supply chain setup.
To visit customers in order to explain, promote and recommend company products within designated markets and regions. To coordinate projects and development work with customers.
To promote new and existing products by attending exhibitions and undertaking marketing projects.
Regular communication with and influencing of relevant sales network and external contacts to manage the business in the market area, this may include coaching, support and advice of agents and distributors.
Decisions & judgements which vary in complexity are often taken under time pressure and in an environment of incomplete information. Issues may relate to opportunities/problems of internal and external commercial and regulatory issues as well as technical, customer, production, agent/distributor and intercompany problems.

Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience preferably in either sector or at least from chemical industry (market knowledge is critical)
Experience in distributor management / driving distributor performance preferred
IT literate, Interpersonal/ communication skills, Negotiation skills, Planning and organising, Attention to detail
Commercial awareness, Time management, Adaptability, Initiative, Decision making, Resilience/ tenacity, Numeracy skills, fluent English speaker.
Knowledge and experience driving distributor performance will be helpful
