 Our client is a leading provider of cyber security solutions with footprints across Asia. They strive to be service-oriented and helping organizations transform their business with their innovative technology and solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • APJ agency management also worked as part of a global PR team to identify industry trends, develop proactive/creative pitches, and drive rapid issues response opportunities.
  • Position Regional reporting responsibility: presenting PR performance based on metrics in an easy-to-understand format suitable for senior marketing and field management consumption, using data from agencies and third-party tools.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated public relations plans to support key launches, announcements, and reports backed by clear goals and objectives, supporting regional education around the topic of identity security.
  • Experience in managing external PR agencies across multiple geographies to achieve consistently excellent results.
  • Collaborate with broader corporate marketing teams on campaigns, social media, web, blogs and broader demand generation initiatives.
  • Act as APJ-specific liaison with the corporate marketing function. This could include content creation across various mediums, for example, event agendas, speaker opportunities etc.
  • Write and edit across a wide range of assignments such as press releases, bylined articles, media pitches, executive talking points, blog, and social media posts.
  • Repurposing/localizing corporate and global announcements and PR content for APJ media audiences.
  • Help spokespeople effectively engage with media and influencers to continue to elevate brand awareness and visibility in traditional print, online media, and beyond.
  • Own analyst outreach program in-region, helping ensure all relevant analysts understand the company strategy and market positioning, especially as it pertains to APJ.
 
Requirements:
  • Ideally 7-9 years of corporate PR experience in APJ, with some time preferably on the agency side.
  • Experience in managing external PR agencies across multiple geographies to achieve consistent results.
  • Experience in working with APJ-based analysts.
  • Excellent understanding of APJ media landscape in order to advise / counsel on how best to regionalize content and drive results.
  • Demonstrably strong English oral communication, writing and editing skills, and ability to translate often complex technical solutions into newsworthy stories.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute influential PR and media campaigns tied to company initiatives and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Relationship with or understanding of the IT industry and broader media landscape.
  • Experience with social platforms to amplify corporate messaging and drive engagement.
  • The poise, gravitas, and stakeholder awareness to manage internal relationships
  • Experience in measuring PR results and utilizing these results to enhance planning and operations going forward
  • Infectious enthusiasm and energy, and a sense of urgency.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
