About the role:

This role is responsible for leading the Digital Design Team and coordinate the creation of allPETstock’s digital marketing assets to ensure an engaging, seamless andcustomer focused experience. You will be responsible for developing strategies thatincrease customer engagement through enhanced digital customer journeys. 

Responsibilities:
  • Be a design and coding star, leading by example when it comes to the creation of all PETstock's digital marketing assets.
  • Build and develop digital design elements for the PETstock Australia and PETstock New Zealand websites.
  • Build and develop engaging and targeted digital communication, personalised to selected audiences.
  • Lead the design and coding of web pages, campaign banners and email communication using HTML, CSS and Javascript web languages.
  • Support and drive PETstock customer journey development.
  • Foster strong cross functional relationships with our online team.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all media.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, across multiple departments within the organisation.
  • Develop project plans.
  • Manage the team's workload by allocating jobs to ensure time lines and key milestones are met.
  • Communicates changes and progress.
  • Completes projects on time and budget.
To be successful in this role you must have:
  • Degree, qualifications and/or proven 3+ years' experience in Marketing.
  • Experience in campaign marketing, e-marketing and website integration.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • A solution focused approach with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Team management and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and process.
  • Expert knowledge of web-based technologies.
  • Extensive web coding skills using languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with APIs and jQuery/JavaScript.
  • Very good knowledge of the Flexbox web styling framework.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Understanding of best practice User Interface Design and User Experience principles.
  • Very familiar with communications platforms (e.g. Oracle) and database queries.
  • Knowledge of email coding techniques utilising HTML, CSS and Oracle Responsys Programming Language (RPL).
  • Experience with the utilisation of Facebook and Instagram APIs.
